About the event
Happy New Year! PerSisters had very successful post card writing events in 2023. Now it’s time to ramp up for 2024. Over the next several months we will be focusing on a handful of competitive California congressional races and a few critical Senate races in Nevada and Arizona. We know that the road to the House majority runs through California so our efforts here are critically important. Here are the campaigns PerSisters is supporting right now:
- NY-03 urges a vote for democrat Tom Suozzi in the February 13 special election to flip what was George Santos’ seat.
- Orange County Board of Education has 3 seats up on March 5. You may have already heard of the MAGA republicans efforts to take over school districts and this is a campaign to reverse that in Orange County and elect a progressive majority.
If you are new to the PerSisters, your first set of postcards are free and you’ll get them at our party on February 5. You’ll also receive a list of voters you will be writing to along with a script.
