About the event
Randy Villegas is a candidate for the U.S. Congress and a rising star in the Democratic Party, working to flip a "toss-up" seat in the Bakersfield area and reclaim Democratic Party leadership in Congress. He is a grassroots candidate endorsed by Bernie, Ro Khanna, the Working Families Party, and the Progressive Caucus. Randy will be building support for his campaign at this event.
Jane Kim, Director of the California Working Families Party, has led a bold effort to elect over 100 progressive Democratic candidates, many of whom are women and/or people of color, to California offices over the past three years. In 2020, Jane led Bernie Sanders's highly successful California primary campaign. At our event, attendees will experience the California WFP's vision.
