Alliance General Meeting

The Alliance has two activities coming up. The first is the Walkathon for Democracy, a fundraiser for Central Valley Matters, an organization that distributes funding to citizen groups that canvas voters in Central Valley swing districts. Madeline Waldman, who works with CVM, will talk about the organization and its many successes. Following Madeline, we will review the walkathon details and oportunities to participate in various ways.

Next, we'll be planning our first canvassing of the season - right here in Oakmont. The alliance has printed postcards (see image) to hand out to Oakmonters in an effort to recruit more volunteers. Those who wish to canvas in pairs - trust us, it's fun - will receive tips and can download an app that will direct them to the homes currently occupied by registered Democrats.
